Jalapeño Grits

A delicious blend of cheese, jalapeñnos and Early's Stone Ground Grits.

4 cups Chicken Broth
1 cup Early's Stone Ground Grits
1 Onion - grated
1/4 cup Butter
8oz Pepper Jack - grated
8oz Early's Sharp Cheddar Cheese - grated

2 tbsp Cream

Cook grits in broth stir constantly until are grits are done (appox 20 min)
Sautee onion in butter until transparent
Stir butter, onion and cheeses into grits
Salt and pepper to taste
Stir in cream
Garnish with sliced Jalapenos

Hot Buttered Rum Roasted Pecans

 

Simple & Easy: Hot Buttered Rum Roasted Pecans

Cook & Prep Time: 30-45min

What you’ll need:

A Pound of Raw Pecans 

4 Table Spoons Aspen Mulling Spices Hot Buttered Rum

1 Egg White

Let’s get started!

Preheat oven to 300

Crack egg white into bowl and wisk 

Get a large bowl, pour the pecans and egg white in and mix together

Slowly add in the Aspen Hot Buttered Rum Spices while mixing 

Place a sinlge layer of the Pecans on a baking tray, with aluminum foil and light butter

Place in oven and bake for 15-20min

Take out, flip the pecans over on the tray and cook anotehr 15-20min
